I came across Carly's Community after my 12 year daughter had been diagnosed with autism and ADHD following a really difficult time with her mental health and well-being.
We were at a really low point, and life was incredibly difficult. We were new to the world of neurodivergence and trying to adjust to the diagnosis and navigate the complexities of the support system as it currently stands. My daughter was struggling hugely with anxiety and meltdowns were frequent. She was in the grips of autistic burnout, and we hadn't fully realised it.
I joined Carly's harmonious families course and Carly helped me to instantly relax because finally I could speak to someone who knew exactly what we were going through and I felt immediately validated and hugely relieved. The course was clear, concise and full of practical ideas to put into place at home. I have been able to deepen my understanding of my daughter's behaviours and triggers, and am starting to realise how to fully support her. Her meltdowns have all but disappeared at the moment, and we're starting to settle and calm down again.

Cannot recommend Carly highly enough. She was recommended us by a friend who also gave a glowing review. My mum and I initially joined her Harmonious Families online course which was excellent and we both learnt so much from it.
More recently we have engaged Carly for her young person mentoring sessions. These have been incredible and I am so thankful that we came across Carly. My 10 year old daughter loves her sessions with Carly. They have helped her to move from being VERY upset and angry about her autism diagnosis, to now embracing her autistic identity. Carly is an excellent role model for my daughter and her teaching background shines through in the way she structures the sessions. The sessions are covering key things that my daughter needs to know (like coping strategies for managing sensory overload) but which she wont listen to her us parents about. Hearing it from an autistic adult that she likes, respects, and looks up to is incredibly powerful.

A friend recommended Carly to me as I was trying to understand and navigate my sons neurodiversity. After a very difficult day of multiple meltdowns I was at breaking point and desperately needed help when I reached out to Carly. Carly was compassionate and validated what I was feeling and reconfirmed that the Harmonious Families course would give me the help I was looking for. It was a fantastic course and really helped me understand what my son was going through and come to terms with the adjustments I needed to make in order to help him thrive. I am so much more aware of what makes me son happy, what starts to dysregulate him and management strategies when he does have a meltdown. Carly provides very useful resources and tools that I will continue to use after the course finishes. Thank you Carly for helping me to join the dots, life is so much calmer for all of us.
