1:1 support that builds confidence, self-understanding, and emotional wellbeing without pressure or overwhelm.
Support is always shaped around the individual.
What might we explore:
What autism means to you
Identity, masking, and unmasking
Managing anxiety, meltdowns and shutdowns
Sensory and social overwhelm
School, exams, or transitions
Work-based reasonable adjustments and support
Friendships
Boundaries and self-advocacy
Building confidence in who you are

You’re a teen or adult exploring your autism identity
You’re exhausted from masking or trying to fit in
You’ve had a recent diagnosis and want to process it
You want to feel more confident in daily life
You’d like to talk things through with someone who gets it
You want to better understand what helps you and how to communicate that to others
You have learnt so much theory but still finding it hard to apply to your life
I also work with parents who would like support in understanding and supporting their autistic child’s wellbeing and self-understanding. I work with children aged 8+.
Most sessions are held online
Each session lasts around 50 minutes
Sessions are offered as part of ongoing support, rather than one-off appointments
You’ll receive a written summary after sessions
Optional resources and reflections may be shared between sessions
A limited number of in-person sessions are available from a clinic space in Leicestershire. These are offered occasionally for those who would prefer to meet face-to-face. Most support takes place online, but this can be a helpful option for some individuals and families.
Ongoing mentoring is offered on a monthly basis, with different levels of support depending on individual needs.
Most people choose between:
fortnightly sessions
weekly sessions
or more joined-up support that includes parent guidance
Monthly support typically ranges from £195–£550, depending on the level of input.
We’ll talk this through during the initial consultation and decide what feels most appropriate.
All new enquiries begin with a 1:1 consultation.
This is a space where we explore what’s going on, what support is needed, and start to make sense of things together, with practical ideas you can take away and use straight away.
From there, we can decide whether ongoing support would be helpful and what that might look like.

I originally found Carly through the National Autistic Society and was drawn to her educational background and the fact that she, herself, is autistic. We decided to book a couple of the 1-1 sessions for my daughter and she absolutely loved them straight off, finding a great reassurance in having that connection with someone who really "gets her".My daughter really looks forward to her time with Carly and knowing that she has that time booked in with someone she sees as a friend, is a massive reassurance for me too as I know it will give her a "lift". Carly has also reached out to see how she can support me and I have decided to take her up on this with a 1-1 session of my own. I'm 100% positive it will help.
But I think the best review can come from my daughter herself...
"Every time I have a 1-1 session with Carly it's one of my favourite things to do after school and it's a highlight of my day. The sessions really are amazing"

Getting to work with Carly has been great so far, she has allowed me to feel understood and heard, but at the same time I feel like I have learnt so much about the neurodivergent experience. She provides a safe space where I feel open to discuss my struggles and concerns, and she is very good at being proactive and helping me think about strategies. She has helped me start to progress towards self-acceptance, and I always feel supported in terms of structured ideas of things I can do to improve my day-to-day struggles.

After Carly's Harmonious Family online course, we have engaged her for her young person mentoring sessions. These have been incredible and I am so thankful that we came across Carly. My 10 year old daughter loves her sessions with Carly. They have helped her to move from being VERY upset and angry about her autism diagnosis, to now embracing her autistic identity. Carly is an excellent role model for my daughter and her teaching background shines through in the way she structures the sessions. The sessions are covering key things that my daughter needs to know (like coping strategies for managing sensory overload) but which she wont listen to her us parents about. Hearing it from an autistic adult that she likes, respects, and looks up to is incredibly powerful.
